universal Pre-K for 4 Year Olds at OCC
Full-Day PreKindergarten Program
Ossining Children’s Center, in partnership with the Ossining Public School District, provides New York State full-day public school prekindergarten classes. Our Pre-K program parallels the program provided at Park School, and offers security and intimacy of being in a small children’s center with the convenience of before- and after-school enrichment for families who would want or need it.
OCC’s developmentally appropriate discovery-play curriculum, designed in partnership with Park School and the Ossining Public School District, meets all New York State Common Core Standards while fostering a sense of wonder and underpinning a lifelong love of learning. We are also proud to offer additional enrichment like creative arts, gardening and more with local community partners.
For residents within the Ossining Public School District, Pre-K programming is FREE for the 9:00am to 3:00pm school day
Tuition-based before and after-school care/enrichment is offered and open on many school holidays and vacations
Family-style meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Snack)
New York State-Certified early childhood teachers
Staff development and weekly staff meetings and collaboration with Park School faculty
