Your Donation Changes Lives

Of the almost 200 working families enrolled at the Ossining Children’s Center, more than 65 percent receive tuition assistance and at least half earn less than $35,000 per year.

Your gift to our tuition assistance program empowers children to reach their full potential while producing economic benefits for our entire community. It is proven that investing in early education for underserved children brings returns to the entire community and advances both the children and society as a whole.

The Ossining Children’s Center is an IRS designated 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization; contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Our Federal Tax ID number is 13-1861927.

  • Help secure the future of OCC with a Planned Gift.

Planned giving is an easy way to ensure that Ossining Children’s Center will always be here - generations into the future. Planned gifts can include bequests through your will, gifts that provide income to you and others for life, gifts of life insurance or retirement plans and so much more.

Planned giving is not just for those with large amounts of expendable income. In fact, the majority of estate gifts come from those of average means, and do not require hiring a lawyer. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a huge difference to future generations of children in Ossining.

    Ways to give through wills:

Give a remainder, or “residue,” of your estate—what remains after bequests to your loved ones are made.

Designate a percentage of your estate be given through your will.

    Leave a specific dollar amount

Designate a gift of specific property: real estate, stocks or other items. Speak with our Development Department about exceptions to this option.

The following is suggested language for a traditional bequest:

“I give and bequeath to Ossining Children’s Center, a not-for-profit corporation, located at 32 State Street, Ossining, NY 10562, the sum/percentage of $________, to be used for the accomplishment of its general purposes.”
