Juan Pomales-Vazquez

School-Age Enrichment Program and Summer Camp Director

A lifelong Ossining resident, Juan joined the Ossining Children’s Center in 2010 as an Assistant Teacher in the Universal Prekindergarten Program, later moving to the School-Age Program, and becoming Director in 2019. A Purchase College graduate with a degree in Sociology and a concentration in Education and Society, Juan oversees daily operations and collaborates with the School-Age team to create a diverse, engaging curriculum. Juan is passionate about the vital role afterschool programs play in children’s social, emotional, academic, and physical growth, and is dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing “home away from home” where every child can thrive.
