Welcome to the Ossining Children's Center,

a high quality child care center in Westchester County, New York.

Among the most important decisions that you will make as a parent is choosing a child care provider. Both you and your child will have a special, intimate relationship with the professionals to whom you will entrust your child while you are at work

To that end, we strive for a sense of extended family in our partnership with parents. We work to support parents who are juggling their roles as family breadwinners and nurturers. And we understand that our relationships with the children entrusted to our care are crucial to their healthy emotional and cognitive growth (for more about – our staff, click here; our philosophy, click here; our curriculum, click here; our enrichment programs, click here).

Our early care and education programs serve children ages six weeks to five years, and our school-age enrichment program serves children in grades K–5. Our Ossining daycare learning environment is enhanced by the rich cultural diversity that distinguishes the Greater Ossining Community and is reflected in both our client families and our staff.  We welcome you to explore our website, or to make an appointment to tour the Center.

Ossining Rally for Child Care draws more than 200.

Thank you to all Ossining Children’s Center supporters who came out for our Child Care Rally on Thursday night at Market Square in Ossining. Our families very much appreciate your support.

Among the speakers at the rally was County Legislator Bill Burton, who acknowledged the need for cuts in County spending, but argued that balancing the budget on the backs of children and working families is not the answer. For background information on the child care funding cuts, click here.

Other speakers at Thursday night’s rally included Open Door Family Medical Center CEO Lindsay Farrell spoke about the necessity of high quality child care to ensure the health and safety of young children. Two Children’s Center parents spoke on behalf of working families. Barbara Golecki, a single working mother of two, spoke about how the County Child Care subsidy program helped her when she was struggling financially, and empowered her to work her way up to a better paying job, so that she no longer needs the subsidy. Diana Lopera, another working parent, also recounted how the Child Care subsidy program empowered her to take care of her child and to improve her earning capacity.
