Ossining Children’s Center strives to keep lines of communication open between home and the center, and between the center and home. In addition to our newsletter, flyers sent home in backpacks, and other forms of communication, you are encouraged to check the web site’s calendar for hours of operation, days the Center is closed, snow policy, graduation ceremony and other special events.
Hours of operation:
The Center is open year－round,
Monday － Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Days closed:
Thanksgiving Day & the Friday after,
November 27 & 28, 2008
Christmas Day, December 25, 2008
New Year’s Day, January 1, 2009
Note: The Ossining Children's Center's school-age childcare and enrichment program is open on all school holidays, half-days, and vacations, the only exception being the dates listed above that are official OCC closed days.
Snow policy:
Ossining Children’s Center follows the snow closing and delay decisions of the Ossining Union Free School District. For information about snow closings and delays, please watch Channel 12 news or WHUD.com, or listen to 100.7 WHUD.
Graduation:
Our children’s accomplishments are celebrated at the end of the school year each June. Parents, grandparents, care givers and friends are invited to share in this annual celebration held at the Center. This year’s graduation celebration takes place Thursday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. The event is free, but please RSVP your attendance to occdevelop@aol.com.
