Board of Directors
The Ossining Children's Center's Board of Directors is the policy making body of the Center, and is composed of individuals from the community who support our mission to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for children while their parents are at work.
The Board keeps the Center's mission, values and goals visible in the community. The Board is charged with long-range planning and fiscal management and accountability to funders and donors. The Board also reviews and approves the annual budget, program plans and organizational policies.
The Board maintains a special allegiance to the Center's historical commitment to provide tuition assistance to any working family unable to afford the full cost of the Center's programs. Raising money to meet this commitment is a major responsibility of the board.
